Greeting card adapted from James Sowerby’s A New Elucidation of Colour (1809). Printed in England on a light cream, 300gsm carbon-neutral Italian paper, made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste.

Sowerby (1757–1822) was an English illustrator and botanist, and his works reached a wide audience. His theories of colour mixing anticipated modern printing techniques and were a significant influence on Turner.

All our greeting cards are 170mm x 120mm (approx. 5” x 7”) and blank inside, individually wrapped in a compostable wrapper made from plants, with a 100% recycled, 110gsm kraft envelope.
